Lumarni brings Japanese curtain design and manufacturing heritage to Australian homes. This Policy applies when you visit lumarnicurtains.com, contact us, request a quote or consultation, place an order, subscribe to our communications or otherwise interact with us.

8. Our Japanese-Owned Manufacturing Facility in China

Lumarni works directly with a wholly Japanese-owned manufacturing facility located in China. The facility was established using Japanese curtain-manufacturing expertise, technical training and quality-management practices.

Every made-to-measure curtain is produced according to the customer's confirmed measurements and product specifications, following established Japanese quality standards across fabric preparation, cutting, sewing, finishing, inspection and packing.

To manufacture a custom order, the facility receives only:

• an internal order reference number; and
• the curtain measurements and product specifications required to manufacture the order.

The manufacturing facility does not receive the customer's:

• name;
• email address;
• telephone number;
• billing address;
• delivery address; or
• payment information.

Customer identity, contact, payment and delivery information is kept separate from the production information sent to the manufacturing facility.

Where necessary, delivery information may be provided separately to the relevant freight, courier or logistics provider for the purpose of delivering an order to the customer.

9. Overseas Service Providers

In addition to the manufacturing arrangement described above, some technology, website hosting, cloud storage, payment, analytics, email or support providers may store or process information outside Australia.

The countries involved may vary depending on the provider and its systems. Where reasonably practicable, we take steps to work with reputable providers and require personal information to be handled securely and consistently with applicable privacy obligations.
